Biking and Bonding with Mother Nature

Both of our  children love outdoors.  As soon as the weather got a little warmer, we rode our bikes and  exercise our legs.  There is a nearby  rough road  at our neighborhood and we sometimes go there.

Aside from biking, we get to explore the woods.  They love to see  things and  oftentimes asks gazilion questions about it.  Our son is fearless, he would  always do things that scares me like  crossing  the tree trunks  that laid in between the two hills.  Hubby said that I worry too much lol.

Our daughter prefers to stay where me and my husband are.  .

We do this  kind of  bonding with nature many times during warm weather.  It gives the kids the chance to appreciate what mother nature can bring  for happiness and contentment.

You might think that  we are weird  because we don't have video games at home.  Hubby and I  doesn't believe that there's good things  that children can get out of video games.  We'd rather  make them work on puzzles and other  board games rather than video games.

  1. What a wholesome activity for the family! Exercise, fresh air, bonding - you get it all.

  2. It is good to get the kids outside rather then allow them to just stay in and play video games! And that seems to be the universal difference between Mom's and Dad's--Dad's say let them go for it--Mom's get nervous and scared!!

  19. That's a great way to spend quality time with the family and foster love for nature, healthy activities and time spent with the family. I also like the fact that all of you know how to ride a bike. In my family, I'm the only biker! :)
