Fun Moment with my Santa

Wer don't always have a picture together  so it is nice when  one of our kids volunteer to take a picture of us.  He doesn't like  being photographed  so I  love it when he agree to it ju0st for fun.
Our daughter was  saying things that made us laugh.
This dress only cost $5, I bought it online.  I didn't think it would fit on me but it was just right for my size.  Buying clothes online is sometimes a hit or miss situation.  I am glad, I got lucky on this one plush the fact that is affordable is a win win  for me.
I love this color for my husband.  He was skeptical when we bought this shirt but I think it looks good  on him.
Last year's Christmas, my husband got me a red bag and  shoes, this year. he got me this red jacket along with other  clothing.
Having a moment with my Santa is truly fun.  We have been married for almost 13 years now and that is something we are both  happy and thankful.  We try to value every  single moment that we have.  I am so glad that everything worked out great for us.  We are blessed with two  loving children, a roof on our heads, and  food to eat everyday.  I couldn't ask for a better life!
Thanks to our darling daughter for taking the photos!

Have Yourself a Smoky Holiday Season #ProductReview #BeautyBox5

From shimmer eye shadow to  make up remover, Beauty Box 5 has you covered this month.  I did not expect  the box to come early this month but it  actually arrived  earlier than it's regular  times of arrival.  This month's  pretty goodies include a shimmer eye shadow, blender brush, total intensity eyeliner, glamazon stick, and make up remover  cleansing towelette.
This Ofra shimmer eye shadow  is a good to use to amp  up your sultry smoky eyes with a little glitter.  These goes on gorgeously whether your packing with colors or blending them out.   I always admire ladies with  beautiful eye make up.  I can't really do it beautifully but I try it sometimes although I always fail lol.
This blender brush is created by Beauty Box 5  to make your product application super flawless.  I used to wonder why there are so many kinds of make up brushes now I can see why.  Certain brushes does different tricks.
If you want a holiday sparkle, this Glamazon stick is the way to go.  You can smooth on a golden finishing touch with this soft highlighting crayon and add shimmer to your cheeks, brow bone, waterline or lids.
After a hectic   day, you can freshen up with this  So Fresh So Clean makeup remover cleaning towelettes.  This is great to have in your purse especially this holiday season where you do a lot of errands here and there.  You can   freshen up with this even  inside the car so that when  you have somewhere else to go to, you won't feel awkward.
Aside from the five pretty goodies above,  also included in the box is a   gift card  with  free 3 meals from  HelloFresh.  I am planning to try this  and see how I like it.
Sharing below is  the early  gift I got from "Santa", a new pair of boots.  It is super comfy and it is a knee high boots so it would be perfect for Winter.  Speaking of Winter, we have been very lucky to have warm weather lately.  The  coldest we will have will be Friday.  Luckily, that is the last day of  school so I don't really have to do a lot of walking  on the cold  weather  for at least 2 weeks.
From my family to yours, I wish you all a merry Christmas and a  bountiful new year!

Red Dress Turned into Skirt

This is the dress that my  husband bought and  gave as a gift about 7 years agoIt fits on my body but I don't like that it is  open at the back and it's too revealing at the front so I cut it and made it into skirt.  Now I can use it and pair it with a black blouse.  I love the fit  on my tosh.
Ews ua  my favorite color so I have  several  pieces of clothing in  this color.
I  bought this shoes  for $4.99 at the mall last year, it was on clearance .  I love when I can find great bargains without  sacrificing the quality of the product.  Most of my clothes are bought on clearance or on sale.  The only time I get expensive  clothes is when hubby would buy it without me knowing it.  My husband does not  really look at the price, when he sees something that he  he think would look good on me, he would buy it without considering of the price.  I am the opposite.  For me, you can really find  good clothes even without spending too much.

Thanksgiving Family Fun and Mood Matcher

Before I  tell you about our Thanksgiving  fun, let me talk about  what's inside the box  this month from Beauty Box 5.  As the BB5 Babe rule number #1 stated, "Your Basics Never Have to be Boring."  A perfect box to have to life your mood and some color to your day!
This vegan matte cream lip and  cheek color  in dusky rose is my kind of  purse essentuial because it does double duty for your lips and cheeks.  This  is from All Natural Face, a g;irty flush  buildable and all natural  that fits your smallest clutch,  space saver!  I like it that it is  in a dusky rose  tone.
There's nothing lke having a good day moisturizer especially now that the weather is getting so cold outside.  I can't go out  without cleaning my face and   applying a moisturizer before I go on my morning walk because my skin hurts when I go out without it.
Last Thanksgiving week, I have a little time for myself because  the kids only have three days of school then they were off.  I got the chance to use this anti-aging  facial mask from Kaunis.  IT is a luxe sheet of mask to give your face a glow in no time.
I am falling into my old habit of going to bed late at night so my eye bags  are getting bigger each day.  I was  excited to see two of this Eye gel pads to address my undereye circle issue.  In just 30minutes, you can tell the difference !
The last but not the least is the mood matcher luxe twist stick.  I love this lipstick even though it is too bright because it lasts all day.  It's the lipstick that I am wearing on the photos below.

After we decorated our home for the holiday we thought of  taking our family photo to be used  for the Christmas photo card.  I wore the lace skirt that I bhout for $4.99 at KMart and the top I bought for $3 online.

Our little lady is my partner in crime when it comes o taking photos.  We always have fun  every time.  The bpyus on the other hand is  always tryng to avoid to have their photo taken lol.
It's hard to include the fur babies in the photo because one of them is alwys trying to  leave when the camera is ready to capture the photo.
We were all ready on the second photo but Bolt decided to move and changed position lol.  He's good in photo bombing.  We finally got  a decent one.  It's not the best but  it's good enough to use for  the holiday photo cards that I orderd online.

Choose Your Crown Jewel with RoyalTea Candle #ProductReview

Our veteran has to work on Veterans Day which is a bummer so we wanted him to  come home  on a relaxing  setting.  The kids and I cleaned the house and  cooked him  a special dinner.  We  lit a candle  which  set the mood of our home as relaxing as it can be.  He works 10 hours  so I know that he is exhausted.

The vanilla bean candle  smells so  divine as soon as we opened the package from RoyalTea Candle.  I have worked with  some candle company in the past but RoyalTea is different in many ways.  For one, their candle  container is just beautiful.  The common  containers  out there are like  regular candle jars but theirs are shaped differently and so unique.
I love their company name, RoyalTea.  RoyalTea not only  produces great smelling candles but they also include   sweet surprise element to it by adding  jewelry.  It's called RoyalTea for a reason, that's because you can choose your crown jewel.  You can choose to have a ring or  necklace to go with your preferred  scent of candles.  The jewelry  is safely  wrapped in foil and embedded in each candle.  The  hand selected piece of jewelry is valued $10 and up to $3,000.
You can just pull  the chain when you see the foil to reveal your crown jewel.  I even liked the chain  and the little brand   tag that says "Pull Me"  It's pretty cute.
It really  makes our home smells  delicious!  My husband  thought that we baked something when he opened the door and smelled the vanilla  scent from the candle.
This Vanilla Bean will be a great choice to light   for special occasion.  Each candle cost $25 which is cheaper than most candles with jewelry out there.
Shadow Shots
Here is the cute necklace that  got from the candle.  The key pendant is elegant, a good piece for a gift!  This would be a great gift idea for a librarian or a teacher.  The key necklace is simple bu0t  beauiful! It is  crafted in sterling  silver with a rhodium plating.  The pendant comes with an 18 inch chain.
I can't wait to use the Christmas Tree scent for the holidays.  My kids have been wanting to light it already but I am saving it for Christmas so we capture the spirit of the holidays with its strong and festive scent.  This is supposed to be infused with pine and cedar wood essential oils, so this would really give our home that  Christmas atmosphere.  When I opened it, it smells like a fresh cut tree, it makes me miss my Dad actually.  I used to go with him  when we have to get some fire wood and the smell of  freshly cut tree is something that I haven't smelled in a long time.  This brings back  childhood memories for me.

Little Black Dress from a Friend

A friend of mine, gave  me tis Abody little black dress for my birthday a couple of years ago.  I love that it fit me perfectly except on the belly area.  It showcase my  belly fat but other than that, I love this dress.
Losing the belly fat is really hard.  I have been doing  planks, some sit ups, and other  things but I feel like this unwanted fat is  here to stay.  I wish I could discipline myself to do the work out regularly though.  Sometimes, the laziness in me kicks in and I told myself, oh well, I am not the only one with  this kind of problem.  Then when I look at myself in the mirror, I don't like what I see.  I think the solution to this is to  look at myself in the mirror  in order to motivate myself to work out regularly lol, the problem is, I don't like looking in the mirror.
I am just happy that I am healthy.  Even with bulging belly, I am blessed  and fortunate enough to have a comfortable life.  I just need to work on  self confidence a little bit more.
My goal is to keep my active lifestyle.  I sometimes fall on eating not-so-healthy food so I have to work on that as well, to not  to give up on temptation like eating donuts and pizza.  I just can't help it  when  I see my lovelies eating them lol.
This Fall, I promise to keep going on what I have started  this year.  I don't want to  use the cold weather as an excuse for not  working out.  So far, I am  doing okay but I know I can do  so much better of what I am doing now.  I just need  extra motivation.

The Health Benefits of Rock Climbing

Rock climbing has long been regarded as the sort of pastime you undertake when you’re young, carefree and blissfully ignorant of your own limitations, much like bungee jumping, sky diving, or voting for the Green Party. You don’t do it for the practical benefits, you do it for the rush, the freedom and because you can just imagine the looks of your parents’ faces if they could see what you were doing!

Or is it just that to it, after all?

In actuality, rock climbing does have many benefits not just to your self-esteem and sense of free-spirited adventure, but also many health benefits too. In hindsight, this may be obvious. Rock climbing involves every muscle in your body to fulfil a very physically demanding task. But what are the benefits exactly?

Stronger Muscles, Stronger Heart
A common misconception about rock climbing is that it’s all in the upper-body and that it all requires is some strong arms and shoulders. This is actually only partially true. Getting up a boulder or cliff face does require a good deal of strength in the shoulders, but equally important are strong legs, careful balance and lean muscles. You’ll have a lot harder time climbing up a wall if you had 300lbs of muscle compared to 220lbs. Indeed, you can expect to see improvements in:
  • Your arms and shoulders
  • Your thighs
  • Back and neck
  • Forearms
  • And your heart – don’t forget that’s a muscle too.
As mentioned above, rock climbing is a very physically demanding exercise that utilises pretty much every area of your body. Even your fingers and toes will get a work out from having to grip and find purchase on a variety of different surfaces. The body becomes stronger, more durable and able to take on more punishment than ever before too long.

Not only does it build strength, but it also builds agility flexibility. As all the movement is very natural and free formed, as opposed to the more rigid and repeated exercises you may undergo in a gym, your body builds strength while also being moved around in a variety of ways. This stretches out the muscles, allowing for a greater range of movement than would otherwise be possible. A rock climber can be just as strong as a weight-lifter while still being able to easily move any part of their body.

Likewise, stamina also improves immensely. Again, every muscle is utilised when climbing, so the workout can be very exhausting. Your cardiovascular system can quickly see its performance improved several times over, allowing for longer, more difficult climbs with less exertion.

The Mind and Spirit
As well as physical health benefits, you can also see less obvious improvements after taking the time to learn rock climbing. Perhaps among the first things noticed is improved confidence. When you can climb up a cliff face like a set of stairs, you’ll quickly learn you can do anything if you set your mind to it. In addition, you’ll also be a lot calmer and more focused as all exercise helps to reduce stress and anxiety, improving your mental well-being and by extension your physical well-being as well.
Your brain will also receive a workout as the activity frequently involves problem solving, working out effective strategies and constantly calculating distances and times. It also demands focus, clarity and constantly thinking only of the task in hand, in many ways a mind-state similar to meditation. The mental benefits that can be gleaned from rock climbing are among the most overlooked, but can also provide the most overall benefit to a climber’s lifestyle and outlook.

Perhaps another overlooked benefit is the ability to teach people to overcome fear and doubt. A fear of heights is quite natural – falling from them can really hurt, after all. However, even those with a fear of heights can undertake rock climbing, and indeed many would say that the mindset is highly beneficial. It means you respect the dangers of the sport and are more likely to take the extra precautions when undergoing it, while taking fewer risks. Eventually, the more you climb, the easier it is for individuals to start driving through their fear and undertaking greater challenges and, through them, greater rewards.

Healthy benefits occur, whether you’re a beginner practicing indoors at a facility or out conquering the great outdoors. Though, if you are climbing up and repelling down big rocks outside, be sure that you don’t leave without bringing all the proper gear. You can store everything in a light-weight, waterproof bag, like the ones Adventure Lion offers, for easy carrying.

Pinktober with #BeautyBox5 #ProductReview

October is breast cancer  awareness month and a lot of company are promoting it through their product.  Although this month's Beauty Box 5  products are not breast-cancer awareness rlated,, I am happy that they  are all in pink.  Pink makes me happy.  It rewminds me of the sweet times when my daughter was still little where color pink is very dominant.  Now that she is  older, she is not much of a pink-lover or mybke she never did  like pink  but she did not have a choice because that was my preference lol.  But anyway, on a serious note, I really love this box.  Everything in it is just too cute and pretty in PINK!
I don't really wear make up  but love this Phink Rhinestone Kabuki Brush.  It is so dainty and  pretty.  The last time I had this type of makeup brush, my daughter used it for painting whch I did not mind because I don't use it anyway.  I will  keep this one though because she can use it  when she start  exploring with make up and stuff but she probably would end up  like me, not wearing make up at all.  It was their picture day at school yesterday and she told me that most of her classmates had make up on.  She told me, she doesn't have time for it (she sound like me!).
Both daughter and I have long hair so these hair ties will be in use for sure.  I offered to do her hair yesterday for the picture day but she didn't want me too.  Sometimes, I miss the  liittle baby I had where I can doll up and I don't hear any resistance at all.  Now she wants to do  everything on her own, sigh.  Okay, back to these knotty hair ties.  These prevent snags, breakage, and the dreaded "ponytail dent".
Now this HappyFace Makeup Cleansing cloth is very soft.  I don't wear make uop but I do get  oily face once in a while when I am out so this ould be  to hoave in my purse.  You can just go to the restroom and freshen up using this cloth.
This would also be perfect for the delicate skin of babies.
This perfect pout long lasting balm stick  have smooth formulas and highly pigmented color that truly last.
The last but not the least is this  mini bottle of the Nubar nail polish
I love it when there's nail polish included in a box because I get the chance to paint my nails lol.  The nail polish dry very fast but it is super thin, it took  give  coating before I attained the right  thickness that I like.
I mean, who wouldn't need a little PINK me uop right?  I am really satisgied of their Pinktober  box!    For those who love  cosmetics,  you may want to check out BeautyBox5, they really do have  pretty selection of five products every month.
