Get That Well-Travelled Glow Before You Go: A Fun Family Trip

Going on a road trip with the whole family is always fun.  We all love  traveling and road trips are our way of enjoying  new places at a minimal cost.  During our recent trip to Virginia, a friend suggested for us to  visit  a nearby park and we were so glad that she told us that because we had a blast out there.
I would rather do something like this for a getaway than amusement  park because I enjoy this more.  The kiddos had so much fun chasing the  squirrels in that park, they wereso many of them.  Although it was hot that day but it was okay  because the view of the lake was gorgeous.
Beauty Box 5  is great in geting that well-travelled glow before you go somehwere. I love BeautyBox5 especially when traveling because they are the perfect sizes to bring.  Tghis month's box includes  eye shadow, round blending blush, skinny tan, rose gold tweezers and  mirror, and tantalizing taupe eyebrow color pencil.   My favotite is the  matching tweezer and  mirror.

Goodbye June, Hello July

The last couple of months have been rough  on us with the  home improvements  and all that planning for the move.  We were only able to visit my father-in-law once and it was on Father's day.  I feel bad but there's nothing really we can do as we have so many things to do with so little time.  I wish my family lives nearby so I can ask  some of them to help me but they are so far away.  I am overwhelmed looking at all these pile of boxes around the house.  You think we are  done, no, we still have like 25% of our things at the  other house and we have to move it out so we can put  it in the market.
I haven't blogged in so many weeks and I am kind of missing it although I tried my best not to and concentrate on  getting settled  at our new home for now.  The summer and fall  tennis  have began  already but we decided not to enroll the kids for now, we just don't have enough time.  I want to clear everything  before we start  engaging into something again.  I know that it isn't fair for the kids but I am glad that they completely understand the  situation.

I am glad that one of the  products inside June's Beauty Box 5 is a treatment sheet mask as I have been sleeping late lately and my eye bags are popping out.  It has a natural fiber mask infused with  blue lotus and restorative Asian botanical.  It feels very relaxing to  mask your face.  The treatment improves skin  texture and has  antioxidants that leaves a healthier complexion, I really love it!

The other products  include a brow and lash brush, radiance bronze and highlighter, an oval contour and highlight brush, and a gradual tanning face moisturizer.  If you love make up, you would love this  box because it has   essentials that you can use regularly when you are putting your make up.  For me, I don't really use make up, only on very few occasion.

Physical Therapy

A trained sports physical therapist can help restore full or partial functionality of injured muscles and bones. Sports men and women are susceptible to various forms of physical injuries during games or even practice. Treatments involving heat, water, or massage can help restore injured muscles and bones. Depending on the extent of your injury or disease, a trained physical therapist can use one or more physical therapy methods to help you recover. When looking for a sports physical therapists consider choosing one who uses the latest techniques in sports physical therapy of New York

Types of Physical Therapy

Mechanical Manipulation
This method combines various forms of physical therapy including massage and medication. Massaging injured muscles and bones and subjecting them to certain movements helps to increase blood flow to the injured parts. Increased blood flow to the injured parts of the body help to promote healing. This type of sports therapy is often used on athletes who have injured their knees. Mechanical manipulation helps to strengthen muscles, improve mobility, and eliminate pain. In addition, exercises such as weigt lifting involving light weights and water therapy enables injured atheletes to gain full or partial control of injured mucles and joints.

Cold Therapy
Some injuries may be accompanied with internal or external bleeding. Stopping the bleeding helps to reduce swelling and reddening of the injured parts. To expedite healing, press an ice pack on the injured area or take a cold shower. This not only helps to relieve the pain, but it also slows down blood flow to the injured area. This process helps to reduce oxygen flow to the injured area hence preserves muscle cells.

Heat Therapy
In case your injury comes with an active swelling, consider going for heat therapy within 24 to 48 hours after the injury. Unlike cold therapy, heat therapy effectively increases blood flow to the injured area and helps to reduce muscle spasms. Increased blood flow supplies more oxygen to the injured tissue and helps to remove dead cells from the injured area. Depending on the seriousness of the swelling, heat can be applied to the injury using moist heat packs, hot water, conversion, diathermy or, ultrasound.

Electrical stimulation
This is a common sports therapy for people who are likely to lose muscle tone because they are confined to a wheelchair or bed. Their muscles become smaller and weaker because of immobility. To prevent loss of muscle tone, a sports therapist can use electrical stimulation to exercise injured, immobile muscles.
