Welcoming the 2017

As the  year 2016 come to an end, I want to  thank God for the wonderful time this year has been.  Although we have  experienced some bumps along the way but we were blessed with so many  and for that I am grateful.  This year was an eye opener for me.  I got to  really examine who I can trust and  realized who the most important  people are in my life.  I am sad to let some go but that's life.  The  important thing is that we learned from our  mistakes and moved on from there.
Our plan is to celebrate our new year here at our  new home but  a family friend invited us to ring in the new year at their new home so we will try to do that this year.  That would be something different as we always  spend our new years at home.
I hope that I would be able to talk to My Mom before  the year ends.  It will depend on the  signal of the phone at our place.  They just had a typhoon during Christmas and  they are still on black out there.  That's the problem with my Mom's place, it is so remote that when typhoon hits, electric always goes out.
Anyway, I want to wish you all a happy new year.  May the new year brings us all  some peace and prosperity.  Cheers!  God bless you all!

Just Add Confetti

Five days till Christmas, I am excited!  Gifts are wrapped,  cards were sent out, now  we wait for the    most important part, celebrating the true reason why we have CHRISTmas.  May we remember  to give thanks to  God for all our blessing this year.  I am grateful for everything we experienced this year including the  hurdles as it made us stronger and better.  It's been a year of fun memories for us.
I am also grateful for companies like Beauty Box 5 who have been a big part of this blog this year.  It's fun receiving  5 different products in a box  every month from them.  This month's box includes liquid gossamer, rain bath body wash, cerapeutic  restoring body lotion, freezing finish hair spray, and lip gloss.  The liquid illuminator provides the perfect highlight.  I am not fond of the smell of the lotion but I like how it feels on my skin.  The hairspray is great if you want your curls to stay  in place.  The products on this  box is party perfect, just add confetti and you're good to go.
My daughter and I love the highly pigmented lip gloss.  It's perfect to wear alone or layer over lipstick for more intense finish.  My eleven year old is showing interest in  beauty products, she asked if she can try the lip gloss and I told her to go for it.
The semi matte formula provides  both rich moisture and a color that last through out the day or night.  She also  used the  rain bath since she has a new  sponge that her friend gave her  for Christmas.

Merry Christmas!

Let me start by saying, Merry Christmas to all of you!   I am a bit late this year in making our personalized greeting cards but it is better than late than never right? I gathered my lovelies last night and took some  family photos  by our Christmas tree.  The men always oppose to this but they will thank me later (I hope) lol.
Our  furry minions are always ready for photo shoot, I just wish Champ would look in the camera.  I had a free offer for  greeting cards as a reward but forgot to use it right away so I let that opportunity expired which made me upset.  So now, I had to pay for what I have ordered wahhh.  That's one of the consequences  of being forgetful or I'll be honest, getting old lol.  Lesson learned!
I was gonna let it  fly without a  personalized greeting card this year but I didn't feel  it's right especially that this is our first year in this new home.  The problem of  ordering it this late is that, the shipping takes time so I won't be able to get them till next week.  I procrastinated  big time this year but at least I am done shopping for gifts which I am glad.  I did most of my shopping online.  Again, my regret was not doing it on Black Friday, I woud have saved  some  cash.  Glad I found some deals online, it wasn't much as compared to the Black Friday deals but I still saved some.
May all of us have a wonderful Christmas celebration and a peaceful  new year.  Hoping for the best for the coming year of the Rooster 2017.  According to  Chinese Zodiac, you are a rooster if you were born in the years 1921, 1933, 1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005, 2017, and 2029.  My husband and  daughter are both roosters.
The card turned out awesome, all of it were sent out already to friends and family.

Keeping the Show on Schedule with Reliable Equipment

Your stage hands have a responsibility that can be heavy in every sense of the word. Not only must they abide by a strict performance schedule; they also must haul, shove, and pull heavy backgrounds and sound equipment on and off the stage quickly. When you want your production to stay on schedule without a hitch, it is important that you provide your reliable stage hands with equipment that can make their jobs easier. Every play can be a success when you invest in gear like carts, flat beds, theater casters, and more today.

Varieties for Every Job

Before you visited the website, you may have been unaware of how many sizes and varieties casters are made in today. You can find casters that feature single wheels that can hold up a slender or narrow piece of background or casters that come with three wheels on a single base that can hold up heavy and bulky equipment.

When you shop online, you can discover gear that you can use for every play production. Large speakers, for example, may fit better on top of triangular caster sets while background screens may fit better on casters that have one or two wheels.

You can explore at length the types available to you on the website. The site has a categorized listing of all of its casters to the left of the page. You can click on each category and discover what models best suit your stage hands and your theater. You can then purchase this gear and have it shipped directly to you.

Other Casters for Sale

Along with finding casters that you can use on stage, you also may need casters for other purposes. For example, if you operate a dinner theater, you may need casters that you can attach to your food service carts.

The carts need to stay upright as your wait staff serves your clients. The casters for sale can hold up heavy carts while going forward, backwards, and swiveling around the tables and chairs on the audience floor.

It is the seemingly smallest equipment that can make the biggest impact on your performance's success. You can keep your show on schedule and give your stage hands a break by investing in gear like casters and more that you can buy online today. These items come in a wide varieties and styles.

Football Banquet at Williams Golf & Country Club

Last Sunday (November 13) was the football banquet.  We got ready  a little early so we took some family pictures while waiting for the time for us to go to the venue of the said event.  I love it when my men are all dressed up.  They don't really dressed up often so it's fun to see them  all spiffy and prim.
The event was held at  Williams Golf and Country Club  in Marland Heights Weirton, WV.   Driving to the place is a real treat,  the golf  course is  beautiful.
Williams Golf & Country Club is located in the heart of Weirton, West Virginia.  It is established in 1932, the club features an 18-hole, par 72 golf course and a clubhouse renowned for its banquet and dining facilities.
Williams  Golf and Country Club  is rated in the top ten of West Virginia’s best golf courses. It  is beautiful and well maintained.  Its layout offers challenge for players at every level.
According to their website, over the years Williams has been the site of three West Virginia Open tournaments and numerous Tri-State, PGA and other events.
It was a really good way of ending the football season, for family and friends to get together and have some good conversation while enjoying delicious food.
My husband worked on this business establishments 30 years ago when he was a teenager and he said that almost everything is still the same inside the reception hall.  He said that there was this rich guy  who was  a frequent client at the club and every Christmas he would give a dollar to someone.  At one time my husband  got the lucky dollar and his friends were teasing him about that.  I told him that he should have kept the dollar as a souvenir lol.
The place looks  old but still well maintained.  The high ceiling is  beautiful but you can tell that  it is really old.
All the players sat in one long table.    It gave all of the the chance to talk to each other before they part ways.  The Jr. Dons football is consist of two catholic schools, St. Joseph and St. Paul.
The Banquet hall has a stunning view of the Ohio river.
While waiting for the program to start, we were able to walk around and take pictures.
I love the furniture and paintings that they have.  You can tell they're old but still beautiful.
It is awesome to see our kids socialize with their friends even though they don't go to the same school but they are united through sports.
Most of these kids will go to the same catholic  high school which is Madonna.
Through out the  football season, I have meet some  good people and became friends  with a few of them.
I hope that next football season will be as  fun as this year.  They did not win a game bu they learned a lot and they have fun so that's what mattered the most.
The family that I got closer with won't be doing the next season.  I am going to miss them.
I applaud  the parents who  put together this event.  They have done a  wonderful job in preparing everything.  The program and the  names with  meals are set upon  the entrance so we just  picked ours.  We were the first ones there so we wondered why they were two sets of our name, it must have been a mistake.

There was an appetizer served before the main course.  They served  salad and  fresh baked bread.   My daughter and I had salmon hollandaise and my husband had steak.  Our son had chicken.
Dessert was also served after wards.
The warding ceremony  was done after we ate.
On our way home, we stopped at one  part of the road  and took some pictures.
It was one wonderful  event that we all enjoyed.  Looking forward to a new season next year.
I was wearing an earth toned dress so the lip locked stain "shae" was a perfect lippie!  It contains primer stain, and kip gloss ion one.  I love that it lasts even after  I ate and the shade really compliment my skin tone.
This month's  Beauty Box 5 has the  theme "It's too cold for a naked face".  It has a deep conditioning hair mask that I truly loved, I used it three times.  The hair mask  repairs damage and breakage to your hair.  I love love love the smell of it.  It also has a  pack of make up remover  cleansing towellets.  Although I don't use make up, it is  great to have it in my purse especially when we go somewhere and I want to refresh my face.  It is unfortunate that the shadow trio  was  damaged during the transit.  The angle brush as a great addition too.
Overall, it was a really great event.  We had fun and our bellies were full!
