Made in the Philippines

When I shop for clothing in the store, I feel excited when I see some that are made  from  the Philippines.  Even though I am now  an American through naturalization, Philippines is still a huge part of h I am.   To be  honest and it may sound biased but I believe that  clothing that  are made in the Philippines are  better than the ones that are made in China and I based that on my own experience.

 Anyway, we were looking for some new dress  that our daughter could wear in church and I found this one, it is made in the Philippines.  

It's a little bit bigger  to my  daughter's skinny body but I like it, hubby likes it and most importantly, she likes it.  She wore this when they sang at the church a couple f weeks ago.

Our daughter is very small compared to her classmates.

Late Spring Photos

I miss  outdoors already and it's not even  in the middle of the Winter season.  It is just a bummer to be inside  the house all the time.  I miss  gardening and watching the birds and butterflies flies around  our flowers.  I also miss doing selfie shots  especially when I have to review some clothing.  Below are some shots  in late Spring.  

Now, I can't wear this dress without  leggings anymore as it is so cold already.  I am also contained in doing my workouts inside which  is not enjoyable as I love doing my  run outdoors.

Dress Choices

These photos were taken back in September when we were looking for a good dress that our daughter could wear in church when she sings in choir.  She love blue color so I found her these two.  I love the first one but she did not like it.

My husband like the second one  but she did not like it.  I found this one that got me excited.  It is not the color she preferred but it is made in the Philippines, so I said, we will buy it lol.

I wish I was  that lucky when I was a kid hahaha.  I rarely got a new  dress  because we could not afford  to.  I would always borrow clothes during  recognition day when I have to go to the stage.  I never asked my parents to buy me anything because I knew that they could not afford to.  I am glad that  my kids does not go through what I have been through growing up.  There is no regret though,  my experiences   made me of who I am today.
