A Walk in the Clouds #Nature'sSleep

BeautyBox5, March Edition

I tried BeautyBox5 last February and liked what I got in the box so I decided to become their regular  BBF subscriber.  This is what's inside for the March edition.   Their goal for  this month is to get out with the old and in with the new ones.  This is the perfect opportunity for subscribers to  throw out the make up that is never used and focus on the goal of having clean and gorgeous skin.

Kate Lipstick by Rimmel London

I don't buy lipstick or make up ever. Friends will give me some but it end up going expired since I don't use it regularly. I only bought this Kate lipstick by Rimmel London because I had to review a red dress and thought that I should wear a lipstick hehehe. This cost under $5 so it wasn't bad.

So here it is.  I don't feel comfortable  wearing red lipstick.  For some reason, it doesn't look right when I look at the photo lol.  Oh well, once in a while, it's nice to  play with cosmetics I guess.

My husband and kids are not  used to see me wearing lipstick so when they see me with lipstick on, they would often say "It doesn't look like you" lol.

I love wearing perfume but never  into make up and lipstick.  I admire  those who look good wearing make up on

Home Improvement Projects

When we first bought our home, the basement had the old  style of  tiles.  The inspector of the house told us that it might contain something harmful so hubby and I decided to renovate our basement and  replaced the old rotten tiles.  We used laminate flooring on the half part of the basement while the other half, we used   tiles.  Below is the photo I took of my husband and kids when hubby got done  laying out the  laminate wood flooring.  It took him a while to finish it as it was his first time doing such project.  He watched the  "how-to" video online in order to   do the project right.  We did not have the  budget to hire a professional so we   tried our best to just  do it ourselves.

DIY home improvement projects saves a lot of money but there are also cons for doing it.  First is that, it takes a while for a project to finish.  Then you will bump into problems  when doing it  especially if you don't have an expertise in doing that kind of project.   So you see, we managed to laid out the flooring but the edges of it isn't done until now.  We still have to purchase the  stuff we need in order to  finish this.  If only we have the resources, we could hire the professionals at Flooring America because they are the leading company when it comes to  home improvement  project like this.  

OOTD #Outfit-Of-The-Day #2

I went for a  walk in our neighborhood  after I walked down  my kids to school.  My husband has to go to work early today because all of us have a dental appointment  later this afternoon so he has to come home early.  The wind is blowing so hard which made my walk not really enjoyable.  I walked until I feel like my fingers are  coming off my hands lol.  Anyway, sharing  here the selfie shots I took last week after my morning walk.

I am wearing:

• Sunglasses that my husband gave me as par to the anniversary gifts few years ago when we were still in Korea. 
• BCX Coat that my husband gave me for Valentine's last year.

• Levis Jeans that I recently snagged for cheap.
•  Winter Boots that daughter and hubby got me.

Okay I will give you this   last shot  for humor purposes.  I thought I was alone in the photo but when I viewed it, my dog , Champ is in the background taking a dump wahhh.  Oh well, he had to take care of his business and so he did, at my expense lol.

Ever since we got our new router, our iPad is picking up the WiFi connection at home.  Since then, my husband love browsing the   houses for sale at our area from his new favorite gadget, the iPad.   I wonder if the  real estate agents here in the are are aware of the  the real estate agent checklist app available for their phone?  I bet they do because most of them are pretty much up-to-date with the technology.

SunFrog Shirts Review

I was given a privilege to  received two  printed tees  from  SunFrog to review.  I chose the CrossFit print for my husband and I. My husband has been under the weather for few days now and it shows on his face, he was not feeling well when I took  these photos.  He feel bad that he's been missing going to the gym for almost two months now.  I am encouraging him to just work out with me at home  so he doesn't have to pay for the gym membership but he hasn't  agreed with me yet hehehe,
