SunFrog Shirts Review

I was given a privilege to  received two  printed tees  from  SunFrog to review.  I chose the CrossFit print for my husband and I. My husband has been under the weather for few days now and it shows on his face, he was not feeling well when I took  these photos.  He feel bad that he's been missing going to the gym for almost two months now.  I am encouraging him to just work out with me at home  so he doesn't have to pay for the gym membership but he hasn't  agreed with me yet hehehe,

I like the material of my shirt and my husband that his shirt is  so comfortable as well.  We finally have a matching shirt for doing our fitness  routines.  Now that it's winter, I do  most of my  workouts  at our living room because it is called  at our basement where our mini gm is.

Fitness Mom

I am not talking about me  but I am talking about the Asian woman, Maria Kang,  who posted a photo of her and her three kids on Facebook that says "What is your Excuse?"  Have you seen it?  They are all over the internet as well as it stirred up controversy.  Some got inspired and some got insulted too.  For me, it is very inspiring because she has three kids and she still managed to have a great looking bod!  The first photo  is the one she posted  in Facebook.

Maria Kang is  half Chinese and half Filipino (if I am not mistaken).  She is a business owner, a non-profit founder, creator of the "Belly Ball" and now known as the Fitness Mom or the  the "No Excuse Mom".  For me, she speaks the reality.  Being a Mom is no excuse not to be physically  fit,  unless of course,  you have a medical condition that is preventing you to do things physically for fitness.  Everyone has each own opinion and you really can't please everybody.  So even if her intention was not bad, some people might have interpreted it the wrong way.  

Anyway, onto another topic, it's time for me to take Maria Kang's challenge to all Moms out there lol. I would love to thank   empower Fitness for sending me this Fusion Fintness Disc, a new addition to my fitness tools at home.  Just like Maria Kang,  Empower Fitness also encourages  women to be active, be healthy, and be strong.  I  admire this company and other companies that do support Moms like me to be the best we could be by  providing us the tools that we need to be physically fit.

Sometime in  October, I participated in a survey about a  video that empower sent me  via email.  I tried doing the  10-minute Victoria's Secret Models workout and then I participated in a survey of how my experience was.   I was  surprised when they sent me an email last month saying that they are going to send me a  Fusion Fitness Disc as a Thank you for participating in the survey.

The video above  is a good one to do everyday, you can try it too.  The Fitness Fusion Disc that they sent comes with a  DVD that I can watch on the different kinds of  exercise you can do about this   7 lbs disk.  There are 10 different  work out routines that you can do with this fusion disc which includes: 

1. sumo squats
2. upward rows
3. traveling push ups
4. alternating twist lounges
5. overhead triceps press (which is what I was doing in the photos below), 
6. jumping jacks
7. alternating arm swing
8. side lunges
9. squat with one arm overhead press
10. burpees

I have been doing my workouts in our living room because it is called  at our mini gym at the basement.  I don't want to  turn on our portable electric heater because it dries out my nose.  I can say that this fusion disc is a true full body workout which provide an invigorating muscle conditioning, cardio and core workout.

Therafit will Make your Whole Body Happy!

It's been  months since the last time I ran.  I have been slacking off  although I am  doing my exercise routines at home.  I finally decided to  go back to running again.  I started last  Monday and oh boy, I ran out of breath so shortly.   That's one thing I  don't like when I stop  running as it is hard when you start again.    

Anyway, I was given an opportunity to review one of the  products from TheraFit.  They sent me this black and pink Deborah Women's Sneaker which I really love.  It is very  light very comfortable to wear  especially when you run or walk.  Deborah is Therafit's lightweight athletic trainer that is made of breathable  mesh  and soft synthetic materials.  

I  like it that they even wrapped the  shoe box like a gift before  they sent it to you.  They also sent me a DVD to watch about the  shoes and a  bag that you put your shoe in if you want to bring it in the gym or somewhere.

It is  summer time which means that  a lot of women prefers to wear  sandals such as the ones you see   at the photo below.  Therafit  offered me to review one of these but I asked if I can review the  running shoes instead because I have  wide feet  and my feet does not look really good with this kind of sandals.  I always buy the ones with close top so no one will see my widespread toes lol.  For you guys  who have beautiful feet, you can dare to be bare by these beautiful  sandals.  

To see how the shoes would make my feet  feels like, I went  for a jog the other day around the neighborhood and I can attest to it's  total comfort.  It did not make my feet hurt unlike the  Reebok or even the Nike that I have when I first  used them.

Toning Wheel

My husband bought this Weider Toning Wheel few years ago and we love using it.  This aims to tighten your upper body including  your arms, shoulders, back, and core.    The comfortable grip and anti-slip wheels  provide a comfortable  and effective workout.

I can only do like five of this back and forth and I am done.  It makes you sore the next day but it does work.  I used to have a  saggy looking  arms but using this somehow  tighten it.  I just wish that I could do it more often lol.  If you are looking for something that could  stregnthen, tighten and tone your upper body, this one is  a god one to consider.  

Cutting Edge Therapy with Zeta Products

Working online is a dream job for  Moms who like to stay at home, take care of the family, and at the same time, earn a little bit.  I work at home and I spend most of my time typing in my keyboard.  That somehow build up muscle pain  from my  palms up to my  arm.  My right arm is the mos painful sometimes.  I have to use   my pain  ointment to ease the pain.  My husband teases me sometimes and told me to stop blogging.

Be the "FIT" Girl of Fashion through Ellie

Ellie  is a company that combine fitness and fashion in one.  They provide  high end fitness clothing  in a fashionable way.  I am blessed to become  one of their product ambassadors  which gives me  an advantage to  preview or have a sneak peek of their deals and latest  fashion updates.  I got this Kiss Me Capri ($54.95) and Tempt Me top ($39.95) for  FREE, just one of the  perks that you get for being an ambassador and I love them!  It fit snugly to my body  which really shows which  part of my  body I really need to focus on.  

When I work out and my daughter is home, she always participates with me.
She's really good in hula hoops and  jump rope.

The color perfectly matches the fitness  products that I got from Empower.  I am really   inspired to work out now because I have the things that I need especially that my treadmill  got broken.  I can now do  other fitness routine  without running in my treadmill.  What I like about the products I got from Ellie is the kind of material they used, it's very comfortable and soft.

As you can see, the tummy is my biggest problem, I am working on it.  It takes time.

Both of our kids are inspired to stay fit as they see both me and my husband  trying to stay fit.  Hubby is still trying to talk me into  working out with him in the gym but the thought of paying $680  a year  makes me say "NO" right away lol.  I have all I need here at home  so why pay if I can do it here.  I understand what hubby is trying to do, he wants us to have a FIT" date at the gym hehehe.  Oh well, at least I can  stay with the kids while he goes to the gym, we won't need anyone to  watch them.  Sometimes, you just have to give up something in order to get something, would you agree?
