Peace, Love, and Shoes

It seems like  March just flew by so quickly,  maybe because I was so busy last month with the kids  activities  and  my commitments online.  I am welcoming April with my new sporty and trendy Monica ballerina flats from an Urban Ballerina company, the Ballasox. I love this color blocking shoes which is made with the Ballasox's signature lining that encases  your foot like a comfy sock.
This shoes features a man-made sole with a round toe and elastic trim.  This is made in Brazil and I LOVE IT THAT IT HAS MY SIZE (5).  I seldom find a shoe that offers a size 5 so I am very happy that Ballasox  has it in my size.  The sizes available is from size 5 to 13.
Monica  is available in colors combination of  black, red, cabernet, nude, and purple.  I was going to get the  black but then the red one was speaking to me so I chose the red.  I am biased when it comes to color you know.  I always love red lol.
I wanted to try it on so I wear it around the house for a whole day when it  arrived while I was doing my laundry.
Those trips I did  from my  laundry room  downstairs back to  our  living room makes the back of my feet a little sore.  I  wish that  it has the elastic all around as the  back part is kind of poking at my skin which makes it a little sore.  It was a huge different though when I  used it today  for the whole day because the back of my feet did not hurt anymore.  I think my feet got used to it already.
I like it that  each pair comes with its own matching tote bag so you can carry your pair everywhere. great for traveling.  You can buy this for  $64 with a shipping of $5.
I thought it would be perfect to wear with my Kenneth Cole summer top with a print "Peace, Love, and Shoes".
My husband ask if I did not like the pair of red bootie that he got me and I told him that I  love it but I can't wear  it during summer time.  This ballerina flats would be perfect for summer weather.
It even looks great with my blue top that I wore today. I love how versatile it is when pairing with colors of clothing.
So ladies, if you are looking for some trendy and comfortable   flats shoes, I recommend that you check out Ballasox.

Sneaker King

All running shoes are not created equally. When it comes to finding the right shoe, the shape of your foot and your running style are far more important than designer brands. Here are some simple tips to help you find the right running shoe:

1. Know Your Terrain

Trail running. If you are an off-road runner, trail running shoes may be a good fit for you. These running shoes feature aggressive outsoles that provide more traction. The base of this shoe is also fortified to offer greater support, stability and better underfoot protection. Trail running shoes are well suited for rocky terrain, mud, tree roots and a wide range of other off-trail obstacles.
Road running. These traditional sneakers are designed for running on pavement. Although they can withstand other surfaces like nature trails and fire roads, they are best suited for pavement. This sneaker is light and very flexible. They are designed to provide your feet with comfort and stability as they make repetitious strides against solid surfaces.

2. Know Your Feet

Size. Knowing your shoe size is critical to finding comfortable, well-fitting running shoes. If you are not sure exactly what your shoe size is, you can have them measured at most major shoe retailers. Using a Brannock device, you can determine the exact size of each of your feet. You may even find that one foot is slightly larger than the other. In such a case, consider going a half size up to ensure both feet have ample space.

Most women’s shoes are designed for a B-width foot while most men’s shoes are designed for a D-width foot. If your foot is narrow, do not be hesitant to try a women’s shoe. If your foot is wider than average, consider trying a men’s shoe. The important part is to find a shoe that is comfortable.

Arch. Your arch shape is another important factor to consider as you look for running shoes. In order to identify your arch shape, try placing your wet foot on a white sheet of paper. The shape left on the paper will help you identify your arch shape. Typically, most people have a high arch, normal arch or a flat foot. Once you know your arch type, look for shoes or inserts that provide the support you need. Stores like Sneaker King offer running shoes to suit a wide variety of arch shapes.

There are lots of factors to consider when looking for running shoes. These simple tips can help you find a shoe that provides just the right balance of support and comfort.

These Boots Were Made for Walking

Chelsea boots are very on trend at the moment, although they have actually been around for decades. These boots have a distinctive appearance. They just skim the ankle and instead of laces, they come with elastic pieces of fabric on either side, which ensure that the boot fits the wearer's foot perfectly. The toe is typically quite pointed and there's usually a small heel. Because Chelsea boots are not usually flexible around the instep and are designed to be quite close fitting, it is very important to make sure that you choose the right size, as there is not much room for error when it comes to these boots.
Comfort and style

However, once you have the right size, these boots are very comfortable. They have become the daytime footwear of choice for many women, primarily because they don't tend to cause blisters or aching feet. They can be worn even if you are usually on your feet all day. This is perhaps one of the main reasons why Chelsea boots have remained popular over the years. They combine comfort with style. It is not just about the practicality of these boots. In recent years, they have become one of a popular choice of footwear, simply because people like the look of them. Many women find that Chelsea boots serve as a good alternative to heels, as they feel comfortable, but still allow you to look polished and put together.

When to wear Chelsea boots

In terms of when to wear them, there is no definitive rule, but they do work well during the chillier months of the year. While they are technically not winter boots, they are sturdy enough to be worn when it is icy and snow on the roads and will keep your feet warm and cosy when the temperature drops. However, although fashionable Chelsea boots are best suited to the colder seasons, because they are only just ankle skimming, you can get away with wearing them when the weather heats up, making them quite a versatile addition to your wardrobe, although it is probably best to stick with sandals if it's really scorching outside.

Styling

Styling Chelsea boots should not be too tricky, as they tend to come in neutral colours and their simple, clean design means that they can be paired with a number of different outfits. When wearing them with jeans, it is best to opt for skinny or slim fit jeans, as Chelsea boots don't work quite as well with bootcut styles. It is important to consider the length of the trouser leg as well, ideally, if you want to show off your boots, opt for a slightly shorter jean leg length than you normally would. Chelsea boots can also be used to toughen up girl dresses and skirts, adding an edge and making them look a bit more modern. A floaty dress, paired with these boots and a cropped leather jacket would be a good example of this type of ensemble.

Therafit will Make your Whole Body Happy!

It's been  months since the last time I ran.  I have been slacking off  although I am  doing my exercise routines at home.  I finally decided to  go back to running again.  I started last  Monday and oh boy, I ran out of breath so shortly.   That's one thing I  don't like when I stop  running as it is hard when you start again.

Anyway, I was given an opportunity to review one of the  products from TheraFit.  They sent me this black and pink Deborah Women's Sneaker which I really love.  It is very  light very comfortable to wear  especially when you run or walk.  Deborah is Therafit's lightweight athletic trainer that is made of breathable  mesh  and soft synthetic materials.

I  like it that they even wrapped the  shoe box like a gift before  they sent it to you.  They also sent me a DVD to watch about the  shoes and a  bag that you put your shoe in if you want to bring it in the gym or somewhere.

It is  summer time which means that  a lot of women prefers to wear  sandals such as the ones you see   at the photo below.  Therafit  offered me to review one of these but I asked if I can review the  running shoes instead because I have  wide feet  and my feet does not look really good with this kind of sandals.  I always buy the ones with close top so no one will see my widespread toes lol.  For you guys  who have beautiful feet, you can dare to be bare by these beautiful  sandals.

To see how the shoes would make my feet  feels like, I went  for a jog the other day around the neighborhood and I can attest to it's  total comfort.  It did not make my feet hurt unlike the  Reebok or even the Nike that I have when I first  used them.

You can buy this   shoes  for $95 by visiting the site through the link above.  The photos below were taken  before I went for my job.  I did some stretching  and warm up   at our backyard first.

Deborah  shoes is  great  for walking, running, working out in the gym, or even for a casual stroll in the mall or in the park.  Thank you so much Therafit!  Oh, before I forgot, I love Therafit's blog called  Mind, Body, and Sole.  You can read parenting tips, healthy tips, and more at their blog.  You can also be a contributor if you want.

Konvine Flats

I used to wear  high heeled shoes when I was still working but now that I  am a stay at home mom, I preferred using flat shoes.  I only wear heels when  we go to church.  Konvine was very nice to  provide me one of their  Foldable Flats for free, thanks a lot Konvine!  I chose this new style Shimmery Black with Crown.

Flats are the new trends these days, I have seen so many ladies wearing flats.  The great thing about these foldable  shoes is that it is light for traveling and it saves you  space  when you pack your stuff.  My daughter  really loved this shoes, she told me that she wishes that  it is  available  also for kids lol.

The stunning rhinestone crown details is what  drawn me to pick this one.  The  fabric is high quality and I love the embellishments.  This would look great in almost any kind of outfit that you wear.  I worn it when I attended my son's Thanksgiving party in school and I got complimented for it.

The dress that I am wearing in the photos only cost $5, I bought it during our recent trip to  a thrift store.  My daughter  found it on the rack and said "You should try it  Mom", so I did and it fit me perfectly!  So I told her, SOLD, lol!

Stilettos

I won this pair of black and pink Stilettos at an auction site using my points earned at their website. I only paid four dollars for shipping fee.   The heels measures  6" which is  very tall for  me but I bid on it anyway as I  was curious why ladies  love Stilettos.  I can say that is gorgeous but it's not the shoes that I could wear lol.
The cool thing though is that, I got one without spending big.  Now, I am looking for someone who could actually use this.  It is a size 5 with 6" heels.  Again, I am inviting you to join the fun of getting freebies and  getting rid of the things you don't need/want at your home. Matching Shoes

Ms. Burrito and I has several matching pairs of shoes. The first matching pairs that we have is an American Eagle shoes.  I bought hers at the mall and I got mine at an auction site.

This young lady is my buddy when shopping.  The boys don't have the patience, they would go to a toy store but we spend most of the time at the  fitting area lol.  We have a  matching knee-high boots as well.
Those clothes that she tried on were my size but she wants to  try everything that  bring in the fitting room lol.
Photos were taken at my  father-in-law's  basement where the piano is.
I hope that Ms. Burrito grow up, she would still  like to hang around with me.

Elegant Mini Dress in Black

I got this black elegant mini dress at Eden Fantasys.  This dress is available in  different sizes from  small to extra large, so you have the chance to get it  no matter what size you are.  This is also available in red color which was my first choice but I chose the black instead.  I like their selection of sexy dresses, if only I have the body to flaunt them lol. I would wear this one out but with a blazer or a cardigan as I am not comfortable  wearing a very sexy clothes outside.

I am eyeing for the black bow mesh moulded bra next time if I get the chance to buy me another product from them again.  They have plenty of selection of brassier and other kinds of lingerie so if you are planning to buy some, just visit them through the links I have provided in this post.

Disclaimer.  This is not a paid post.  I received the  above item for free in exchange of my honest review.  The opinion being expressed is 100% solely mine.

On the other note, I was going to post  a photo of my  7 year old  Nike running shoes but  my PC just recently bailed on me so  the photos above are the closest thing I could include in my subject.  Those were taken my son was two years old trying to  wear his Dad's  shoes.

Anyhow, back to the running shoes I was talking about, even though it is 7-year old already, it is still in good condition and I still use it till this day.  In fact, I just got done with my  2-mile run  at the tread mill at our mini gym downstairs.  I burnt 300 calories  in 33 minutes.

Winter Boots

My husband is hinting  to have a red wing winter boots this year.  His work boots that he owns for  years now is showing a wear and tear so he wants to have a new one.  I found some  great selection at Dave's New York website so I will show this to  my husband and see if  it's something that he would be interested in.  I would like to get him a pair of winter boots  but I want to make sure that he likes what he will get.  I can't just buy what I think he would want, I want to make sure that he is involve  in looking for it lol.

Last year, my husband  bought me and my daughter each a pair of boots and we both love it.  My  daughter used it the whole winter last year and she still uses it  this year.  It's nice to be able to find  shoes that fits perfectly and  comfortably on your feet.  I have three pair of boots but this one is the  one that I like the most.

Shoes

I don't normally  buy shoes online because it is hard to tell if it will fit me or not because sizes are not  consistent.  However, when I saw the shoes that I am wearing in the photo, I was drawn to it that I had to buy it lol.  My husband  bought me  a pair of boots last year and that's what    I usually wear during winter times.  I used to wear high heels when I was still working  but now, I only wore them at church.

Seeing  the  Tory Burch Calista  selection reminds me of  the time  back when I was still in my country.   I always admire  celebrities I see on TV who wear Boots.  But since we live in a tropical place, I never get to experienced wearing one.  When I came here, it gave me the  opportunity to be able to wear boots.

Infinity Shoes

I bought this grey and green Blowfish Vanami shoes at Infinity Shoes website  a couple of weeks ago.  The smallest size I could find though is 6 which is  an inch longer than what my  feet size are.  If you love shoes,  the said website has it all including miz mooz, Timberland, Sebago, Keds, Lacoste, and more.  They also have bags and other accessories.  Right now, I love the selection of  shoes at their clearance section.
I don't really buy  on a whim but since I got this on sale, I pay less and they also offered free shipping when I got it.  he bonus part is that, my husband liked it on me so that was a big plus.  Another reason I bought this is that, we bought a similar style and color for our daughter so we could  wear a matching shoes  in church.
The green and grey color of this shoes is just perfect for ABC Wednesday's letter G this week.
