Healthier Skin with #SeabuckWonders: Perfect Mother's Day Gift #FamilyPictureApril

It's the last day of April, yay!  It's a great month for my family physically, emotionally, and financially.  March was emotionally exhausting for us  but we rebounded back this month with God's help and we are all doing well despite the loss of our dear loved one last month.
These photos were taken  last Easter.  This is the first year that we celebrated Easter without my FIL so we  just attended a mass and did not do anything  fancy.  We just wanted to reflect on life in general and focus on what matters the most.
We are so grateful for all the  support  we have received from family and friends in  those difficult times.  When you go through something emotionally difficult, it can be comforting to know that you have friends and family you can lean and count on.
Anyway, onto another topic, the heat of the sun is already setting in so I really want to condition my skin  and get it ready for the harsh hot weather.  I received a skin product line from Seabuck Wonders and I am just starting to use  them after taking a break a few weeks of break.  I always  give my skin the time to adjust before using another product coz if I don't, I get  breakouts especially on my face.
I received a complete  package of skin care which includes a   facial cream, facial cleanser, and body lotion.  I have used these   products before and  it made my skin  so soft and healthier.
The Himalayan Sea Buckthorn body lotion  provides nourishment with age-defying properties for soft, healthy skin.  During summer time, my skin tend to  dry that's why I am happy that I have this lotion because it provides the nourishment that it needs to stay soft and free from dryness.   I love  that it doesn't make  your skin feel greasy.  The scent is very mild so it doesn't overwhelm my  hyper sensitive  sense of smell.
The  SeabuckWonders Exfoliating Facial Cleanser ensures not only a deep clean on your skin, but a boost to your skin’s vibrancy as well.  It enhances skin tone and texture and gently exfoliates and detoxifies, which my skin needs after a brutal  winter weather. I am an outdoor  kind of person so  my skin is always exposed with  the   different  weather temperature  and it needs all the proper care that  it can get.
Last but not the least is the SeabuckWonders Facial Cream.  It  offers unparalleled hydration and protection for radiant skin.   I am turning 44 here  5 weeks  and  the skin  around my eyes  is already showing some wrinkles so I am glad that I have this complete line.  The facial cream moisturizes and rejuvenates  the skin and it also supports skin cell functions which is very important at   this  particular age.  The cream helps protect against visible signs of UV-induced stress and lastly, it enhances skin tone and texture.  So if you  are looking for a special Mother's day gift, give them  something like this that would  give them beautiful skin.

Keeping Coral Reefs Safe While Protecting Children

Every parent is concerned about the time their children spend in the sun. Kids just want to get out there and enjoy the warm rays. It's well known that overexposure to sun can damage delicate skin, destroy skin cells and potentially cause and contribute to skin cancer in the future. This can happen unless delicate skin is protected with a high quality sunscreen. The most harmful rays are UV rays, so these are the sun's rays that most sunscreens shield skin from.

But did you know that sunscreens which contain several commonly used ingredients can also harm the delicate coral reef, especially if they're applied to skin right before getting into salt water? Ingredients like Octinoxate, Oxybenzone, Benzophenones and Paraben are the main offenders that could harm the coral reef ecosystem. The good thing is, you can now find reef safe sunscreen so you can protect kids while keeping the coral reef safer.

Ingredients That Harm Coral Reefs

The ingredient Benzophenone is an ingredient that bleaches coral reef. It can also cause mutations in the reef and damage DNA. Oxybenzone commonly causes certain deforming actions to take place in the reef, and can prevent the reef from being able to reproduce properly. Octinoxate absorbs UV radiation and can re-introduce dormant viruses into algae, which can eventually bleach and kill delicate coral reef formations.
With an imminent potential for damaging the fragile coral reef, many parents today look to use sunscreens on their families that have eliminated many of these possibly harmful ingredients. The newest sunscreens are formulated to keep protecting people from the sun's UV rays while being safer when they are immersed in salt water.

Common Ways Chemicals Damage Fragile Coral Reefs

There are two common ways that introducing chemicals into the delicate underwater ecosystem in a salt water environment can damage coral reefs. The first way is through an interaction that happens between chemicals and salt water. Together they create hydrogen peroxide that can cause phytoplankton growth to be inhibited.

The other way that coral reef can be damaged is by chemicals acting to renew viruses that were once dormant in coral. This can bleach coral reefs and damage or destroy algae, which is essential to healthy coral reefs. It pays to use a safer sunscreen that is just as effective in preventing exposure to harmful rays while protecting the environment.

Happy Birthday Father Dear from Way Up There

My father could have been 66 today. He died too young and I always wish that he was still around till this day. It's been 14 years since he passed and I always imagine how he would have enjoyed being around his grandchildren. He never saw my kids because he died so suddenly, few weeks before my wedding. It was a very  hard loss because I never expected him to go so soon.  The difference about passing away from the country where I came from to here is that there is no such thing as Dayton obituaries index  or any  obituaries like you can find here in the states.

One thing that I miss about my father is his passion for cooking and he also love to sing and dance. His father was a really good musician who played different instruments but my father never really learned to play. However, he had always loved singing.   Anyway, I am browsing  around online and checking all the great deal !   Sometimes, there are  things that  reminds you of someone and  it makes you think of them.  Music instrument, food, and jokes are always  the  keys for me to remember Papa.
