Victorian Style House

We had a busy weekend.  We went and looked at  an old world charmer Victorian  style home in an inclusive residential area in Weirton.  It's a 2 story  house with 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths and  2 car garage.  I like the  wrap around porch and it's a double lot.  Exactly what we are looking for in a house.
I love the kitchen because it is big and  it has an island.
This country charm  stove and oven are so unique.
Our daughter  don't want to leave our home but when she saw the heated  pool, she got excited.
The agent told us that   they initially had this  sold  few years ago but the owners backed out because they couldn't take leaving the house that they built.  Now that they have to move due to  job assignment, they are forced to sell it again.
The family room has a bar and a fireplace which is really nice.  The only thing I am not fond of is the wallpaper, they are everywhere!
I love everything  about the house except the price lol.  I mean we can  afford it but it would be tight for our budget and I don't want that kind of stress.  We'll wait maybe they would lower the  price and  we can  make an offer.

Baby Sling

When I had  my second  child,  a friend gave us a baby sling.  I only used it a couple of times and did not think that I will need it in the future so I gave it away.  A year after that, we went for a  mountain climbing  and I badly need one, glad that one of the Moms I know lent me one.  I noticed that most of  the Asian Moms in the country where we live for  two years uses this product.
When you have a baby at home, it's nice to have one of this  because it makes it easier for both parents and the baby to  move around.   It's comfy for the baby and it makes it easier for Mom and Dad to carry the former.   As you can see in the photo, the baby is enjoying her ride from Mommy.  Take for example when you have to buy groceries, you can use your two hands even  with baby in tow.

Goofing Off

I tried  getting a good picture of my two Burritos but the Mister  just kept goofing off lol.
The little Miss is always willing to pose but the Mister  isn't.

On the other note, I watched the kick off  premier of the Dancing with the Stars last night and Kirstie Alley took the host, Tom Bergeron, by surprised with a kiss.  Hmmmmn, that makes me curious, was it a strategy?  Who knows, lol.

Fun in the Woods

One of our close friends brought some of his gun collection during my FIL's birthday party. We went in the woods and they practice shooting.
My son doesn't like guns so he entertained me with his silly jokes and poses.
It was a good exercise for all of us as we have to walk down a little  far to get to the safe place to shoot.

Shoes

I don't normally  buy shoes online because it is hard to tell if it will fit me or not because sizes are not  consistent.  However, when I saw the shoes that I am wearing in the photo, I was drawn to it that I had to buy it lol.  My husband  bought me  a pair of boots last year and that's what    I usually wear during winter times.  I used to wear high heels when I was still working  but now, I only wore them at church.

Seeing  the  Tory Burch Calista  selection reminds me of  the time  back when I was still in my country.   I always admire  celebrities I see on TV who wear Boots.  But since we live in a tropical place, I never get to experienced wearing one.  When I came here, it gave me the  opportunity to be able to wear boots.

Brisk Walking

Ever since the school started, I have been brisk walking after I dropped off my kids to school.  Our neighborhood is a safe place to go for a walk.  The photos below were taken today, I remember to bring my camera with me.
I saw these two crows  at the back of the college building.
I am happy that I am back on track with my   work out.  Maybe I can lose some of these stubborn fats that have been  resting in my tummy lol.

Tomato Juice

We have an abundant  cherry tomatoes  at our garden and we couldn't eat them all so we have been juicing them.  Ms.  Burrito is very  enthusiastic in helping Mommy juice it.
She find it so much fun to grind the juicer.  She also plays with the  remains (skin and seeds) after the juice has run out.  She makes it into balls.  I think it would be nice if I have a big a land and I can spread this seeds and  I have many  in the next year hehehe.  I actually did not plant my cherry tomatoes this year, they just came back from the ones I had last year.
We had fun looking at the skin and seeds coming down with a hole in the middle.
I bought two dozens of jars  from the store and now I am out again.  Gotta buy   another   case  because I have many to   juice once again.
I just have one question, how come it is called canning when in fact we are using  jars instead of cans?  Would it be appropriate to call the process jarring instead of canning?  Just  asking hehehe.
