Family Outdoor Routine

Walking, riding a bike, running, and a little bit of  sports  are our family routine to keep up with our  goal of staying fit.  These photos were taken in May during one of our family walk when hubby and I did not have bikes yet.
Our neighborhood is  a  great place for family to go for a walk and  have fun.  This is the back of the  community college, we always  go here because there are lots of deer and rabbits that  shows up.
I think that i is very important to teach the kids early on that health is a very  important aspect   of ones life and that they need to stay fit.
Daughter and I  had some   special moment on this field,  she told me that she is so happy that we do things together as a family.  She said that even if she is grown up already,  she would still  want to hang out with  me and her Dad (let's see hehehe).  To hear that from a 6 (almost 7 years old) is  heartwarming.
Including this YELLOW rose of mine for letter Y of ABC WednesdaY.  Yeah, I know, it isn't much of  a great word but...  I don't  have  much Y gathered this time.
Our walk always ends up with hubby and the kids having a race at the elementary school  field.
Every time, the  kids  are  wore out in doing stuff outdoors, they always  sleeps good during night time.  How about you guys, what do you and your kids do during school vacation?

  2. IF I had kids I would be making sure, like you, that fitness/being healthy was part of their lives .. we live across from a park so I am sure that's where we'd be ...
