These Boots Are Made For Walking by Nancy Sinatra

When I first came here in America, my  main entertainment is my baby  and watching TV when I have time.  I used to love watching the  TV show called the The Ultimate Coyote Ugly Search series.   I love when they dance and sing  with their boots on, it's pure entertaining to watch.  I have never worn boots when I was in my country because we don't need it there having a tropical weather.  

I'd come to love wearing boots when I came here especially during Winter times.  It keeps your dogs errr  feet warm when you go out walking.  Anyway, these photos were taken when we visited my  FIL one day and  me and daughter went upstairs and just let loose in front of the camera lol.

Because of the show, I'd come to love the song "These Boots are Made for Walkin" by Nancy Sinatra

Jessica Simpson also has a remake of the song, you may watch the video below and tell me which version you like.

I still love the original as it doesn't show much, if you know what I mean hehehe.

Hip Hop 50's Shop

What a way to end a stressful day but to play dress up. It was a perfect timing that after my interview at USCIS, I received a package containing the poodle skits and shirts from Hip Hop 50's Shop . A great way to celebrate the success I went through with the immigration interview.  So even though I was exhausted  mentally and physically that day, my smiles were  from ear to ear (I'll let the  photos do the talking now).

My mother was born in the 50's but I never heard   her talk about poodle skirt.  I remember her  talking about petticoats though.  I am planning to  print the photo below and send it to my mother in the Philippines, maybe it will bring back  fun memories for her lol.
