Music is such a powerful tool for relaxation. I love the ABBA song "Thank You for The Music". It is one of my favorite songs of all time and they are one of my favorite groups. I can listen to this song all day long. This is one of those songs that I can never forget the lyrics. You may play the video below while reading this post. It is so nice to have musician friends and to have musical instruments and gadgets that you can listen to. It's therapeutic.

Anniversary Celebration at Home
I was working at a Catholic school when I met my husband through an online dating site. It was around October of 2002 when he found my profile online. After five months of communicating online, overseas calls, and love letters, he came to see me in March of 2003. I remember being so stressed on those times because I have my final defense for my my thesis that day and travel to Manila that night to fetch him at the airport the next day. I think I look like a zombie when we first met at airport lol. Defending my thesis and meeting him for the first time was too much. I don't know how I passed my defense but glad that I did.
He decided to came to see me in March as his graduation gift for me. I was warned not to attend my graduation if I am taking him, but being rebellious that I am, I attended and made him escort me on the stage when I received my diploma anyway. I deserve to be there, I work hard for it, and I deserve to take whoever I want. I smile every time I remember it though.

Five months after that, he came back and we got married in Civil. Our civil wedding was just a formality because it was against the school's policy for an employee to be with someone when you aren't married. Literally though, we were not together all the time as we were miles apart but since we both fell in love online and our physical meeting sealed it up, we went ahead and got married.
A year after our civil wedding, we got married again in church before I migrated here in the US. So fast forward 11 years, here we are. Still very much in love and very blessed with two lovely children.

We get to celebrate two weddings in a year and the kids thinks it is so cool and romantic lol.
We had a fun celebration. We attended church in the morning and then had dinner at the restaurant. We spent the rest of the day with the kids, just having fun and being silly. Our daughter baked us an anniversary cake which I will post at my food blog soon.
I couldn't ask for more. God truly gave me a wonderful life with a loving husband and precious kids.
I must have done something good to be blessed like this, for that, I thank God always!

September Fitness Recap
Now that I am in my 40s, I am more committed with my fitness goal more than ever. I didn't really care about my body's health when I was younger and popping out kids but now that I am done with pregnancies and stuff, I am dedicated to taking care of myself not only for myself but especially for my family. I want to be able to do things with my kids so that when I am gone, they could look back and say that their Mom was able to do this and that with them. It is also important for self esteem right ladies? I am not the most fit Mom there is (body-wise) but I want to be stronger and be there for my kids.
Below are my recorded regular rituals with keeping fit. Most of these photos are just my walks/jogs. I did some yoga and other aerobics at home as well. Hope you enjoy the photos.
I usually go for a walk after dropping off my kids to school from Monday to Thursday. On Fridays, my husband is off so we go for a walk together. The weather is becoming colder so I am not sure if I could continue with my outdoor routine. I will be back doing my cardio at our little gym in the basement if I couldn't handle the weather outside anymore. We will see. Till here folks, my cramp this month is killing me ugh. Thanks for visiting.

How Much Emphasis on Safety is Required with a Baby?
Make no mistake, babies are fragile and delicate – and need to be protected. Until your baby’s motor functions are developed and they begin to get more dexterous, there are so many risks that you need to be wary of. On top of that, because a newborn has spent all their time in the womb where they are fully protected, even general exposure to the environment and their surroundings can often pose a risk.
As a parent, it is your job to provide a safe and secure environment for your child, especially during those first twelve months or so. Considering the bulk of your time is probably going to be spent at home, that means that a good deal of emphasis should be on childproofing your house.
Removing sharp objects from easy access, being wary of sharp edges on furniture, cordoning off the stairs – all of these are just a few of the basic steps that you should be thinking about. At the end of the day though, a good deal of the safety aspect comes from being attentive of where your child is, and what he or she is doing. If you have an eye on your child the whole time, it is a lot less likely that they could accidentally hurt themselves.
One of the best ways to start exploring the safety issues that come with having a child is by seeking the opinions of others. By talking to other parents, you will develop a better understanding of what to expect. Check out social networks for parents such as moms.com if you need a place to start. Of course, consulting a pediatrician might also help – should you want some clear medical advice on any issues that you may be concerned about such as allergies, colic, and so on.
Having a baby is a great and rewarding experience, but it is also stressful and trying. It may seem overwhelming at first now that you have to be mindful of a whole slew of safety issues while at the same time taking care of your child’s needs – but that is part and parcel of being a parent. Be sure to reach out for help if you feel that you need it, and always remember that when all is said and done it is just as important that you take care of yourself too.

Hour Glass Body Suit
I want to welcome the first day of October with smile on my face and joy from my heart. I can almost smell the Christmas in the air and I am so glad that I am still enjoying the beautiful creation of God, our mother earth. I am very thankful to the companies I worked with online this year because they have been so kind and generous. I may not be getting sponsored posts nowadays but I still love what I do as a blogger. My husband hinted that maybe I should stop blogging since I don't earn as much as before but I don't think I can do that as I came to love this craft. YES, I consider blogging as a craft because if you put your heart into it, it is like your dream job. It doesn't give you financial stability but it gives you that satisfaction of doing what you love to do.
Anyway, I was super stoked that Almost Skin has agreed to work with me and sent me two set of items to review. The items arrived in a very-well packaged box. They definitely take pride of their products as evident even on the packaging.
I love this smokey black colored Strapless Set that comes with an adjustable matching clear band, padded cups, and a matching semi-seamless panty. The strapless bra has push-up pads for a perked look.
I don't really have a good pair of strapless bra so when I saw this particular set, I was sold out. The thing that I love is the versatility of the bra. You can use it using the clear band or you can use the regular material that matches the bra. I also like that there are eyelets to both sides and the hooks are on the bands.
I have never seen this style before so I am super happy to have one. The panty, although seamless, I am not fond of it because it is a thong and I don't really wear this kind and it is in medium size so it is big for my size. Medium is the smallest size available for this panty.
Oh, I also love the little details imprinted on the other side of the bra. It's a flower that is lightly visible but it added a special touch to the bra. Really pretty. I have small breasts so this padded bra gives that little push it needs when wearing a tight fitted dress.
This hour glass body suit is a must have especially if you have stubborn belly fats like me that just wouldn't go away no matter how much you tried in getting rid of it. This is a small sized which perfectly snug into my body. I love the material they use and love how they designed it. I like that every part of your body is given emphasis to the design like the waist, bottom, and breasts.
The only feature of this body suit that I am not fond of is the bottom clips because it is way too big. I wish that they could have two sets of hook and eye instead of three because the material that holds it is a bit tough and it doesn't feel good when it rubs in between down there. I am thinking of altering it in the future if it continue to bother me but for now, I'll take it. I really love how it makes your bottom so shapely.
I seldom dress up because I am a stay at home Mom but it feels good when you go to church or special event and wear something that make you feel sexy. With the body suit that I have, I don't have to worry much of the bulging tummy. It still shows a little but but I am working on it. It is a work on progress.
Photo was taken down our garage when we got home from church last Sunday. Thanks once again Almost Skin for these fabulous inner garments, love them! Oh before I forgot, the prices of these items are very affordable so head on to their website and take a look. The body suit is on sale now for $27.99, great price right?
