Family Law

Having a family is the best thing  but it comes with a huge responsibility.  There are many   major decisions to make  in order to have a  well-balanced  family life.  I love being  a stay-at-home-mom  but now that my kids are in school,   I started thinking that maybe I could back to work again.  But then again the  other side of mind is telling me that they are still young and still needs my full time attention so maybe, I would  look for a job later on when they  are old enough.  

Another  big decision  to make for  a family is to have a good and dependable family lawyer.   Now, even though there are family lawyers out there that can do  the job for you, you have to make sure that  they are reputable and  knows  what to do in case of family matters and issues. 

Training Wheels Off

We recently bumped into old friends who has two children  of our kids' age.  They were riding their bikes without training wheels.  It encouraged our Burritos to try riding their bikes without the training wheels.  Our son was the first one that showed courage then  daughter followed.

We started at the driveway then we brought them at the field.  Mr. Burrito   got it quickly but Ms. Burrito's  cautiousness got in the way.  She was scared  to do it in her bike so she used her brother's.

Her competitiveness   overshadowed the fear so she tried and got it eventually.

She only want to do it in the grass so if she falls, she would get  hurt but with our encouragement, she   tried it at the concrete.

Hubby took a picture of me while sitting on the grass watching the kids.  I was so sore after the exercise I did at our basement.  But as they say "No pain, no glory"  so I am keeping my goal of working out.

She finally realized that it is easier to   ride  in the concrete because it isn't bumpy but she is right  about getting hurt when you fall in the  cemented one.  Parent's support, encouragement, and involvement is very vital to boost the morale and self confidence of  the children.

Multi Layered Poppies

These gorgeous flowers are very easy to grow but it is not good to transplant them because they usually die.

The only downside of these multi layered poppies is the not-so-good  smell and the bloom doesn't last very long.

Popcorn Bowl

I love the pop corn bowl that one of the Moms brought during the end-of-the-school party.  If I will find  like this kind in store, I would definitely buy one.  The  combination of skittles and jelly beans  in the  bowl is  very eye catching.  

I really like this  yard decor at one of the houses in my BIL's neighborhood in Chester.  The tires and the   bowl (not sure what is the right   name for it) are huge.

Bathroom Accessories

When we  bought our home  6 years ago, the basement did not have a  bathroom so  hubby and I  decided to renovate it and he added  a full bathroom downstairs.  We love it that we have one down there because  whenever we got done working out at our  mini fitness gym, we  can just  take a shower down there.  We bought some bathroom accessories to complete the look of the new bathroom.

My husband is so happy that he got this new job because  we might be able to do our pending project  which is the remodeling of our main bath as it is too outdated already.  We both agreed that  we would make it  look modern  with neutral colors and no more PINK!  He hates that about our bathroom, the former owner  used  pink tiles with floral design.   We were not able to do that project  this year we  did not have savings for it but hopefully next year, we would be able to.

I would love to have a tidy look for bathroom accessories  just like the one that I saw online at Water Works website.  Below is the photo I borrowed from the site.  I told my husband that to make our bathroom look a little wider, we need to put  white tiles  and just splash it with accessories that would make it pop.
