Nordictrack Tread Mill

Here are some shots I took when we were unboxing my second gift from "Santa", thanks Hon!  Hubby asked me  if I would like to  get another treadmill to replace my broken one or to  get an elliptical.  I chose  the former because I love to run and treadmill gives  me that satisfaction.  Price-wise, the elliptical is much cheaper though.

The store charges like $130 for delivery and assembly but hubby just hauled it and put it together  with a little help from me.  It took us  a couple of hours but it was alright, it gave us to have a little workout as it was heavier than we thought lol.

It's funny, after we put it together, we realized we left out something that needs to be at the bottom of the bottom but since we were tired already, we did do it as it requires us to de-assemble  a lot of things.  It wasn't that will  affect the use of the treadmill so we  said to just leave it for now.

Our last treadmill is a Proform but hubby chose the  Norditrack this time.
Me, doing a test run to see if everything is working fine and it does.  Glad to have another treadmill again.  My husband  is a member of a gym here in the area so he seldom uses our  mini gym down the basement.  I told him to just work out with me but he encourages me to work out with him in the gym which I am not comfortable in doing.  I'd rather work out at home than in the gym.  But, whatever works right?

  8. So, this is your secret huh? No wonder you look so healthy and young because you take care of yourself. The store charge that much? You guys did the right thing and you saved $130 for hauling it by yourself. It was a nice gift, you have sweetest and thoughtful hubby :)

  9. Lucky you! I wish I had one. My husband is not a fan of treadmills and he would rather go outside for a run. I work at home with no apparatus at all, but that is alright. We are thinking of joining the gym this year, but we will see. I am going back to running again and hopefully will start it once the weather permits. Congratulations on your sweet gift. Love it!

  17. I think gyms are great for those that want them, what ever gets people moving. I am like you though and much prefer to be home to workout (or out running when weather permits).

  18. Congrats on your new treadmill! I would love to have one in my basement, but sadly, I have to go to the gym to use one. I prefer to work out at home in the winter months, but actually love to go to the gym in the summer.

  38. I think once we have a house, I would love to have an elliptical for sake of ease, but I do enjoy getting out to an actual gym as well.

  39. I like that brand of tread mill sis. I used that when I was still a gym member. Like you, I prefer to do my regular workouts at home. I get too conscious when I'm in the gym.

  40. I also love running on my treadmill. Like you and Ria, I do my workouts at home. I also have dvd workouts (gathering dust for now) hehe. I have my treadmill located at a room where there is a wide window overlooking the street para I look at the people or the cars passing by to distract me from thinking na "shucks ten minutes pa!pagod na ako" hehe
